The Huntsville Public Library will once again offer free Spanish classes taught by Beth Williamson during Spring 2014.
Intermediate and Advanced classes will be offered beginning Tuesday, January 14 and end on Thursday, May 15, 2014.
Intermediate classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 - 3:30 p.m. in the Huntsville Public Library’s
Community Room. The Intermediate class will be limited to 15 new students, with the remaining seats reserved for
students returning from last semester’s Beginner class. Class seats will stay at 30 total. Those who are not signed up
before the 30 seats are filled can put their names on a waiting list.
Advanced classes will meet on Tuesdays only, beginning January 14, 2014, from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in the Huntsville Public
Library Community Room. The Advanced class has no student limit and will also end on Thursday, May 15, 2014.
While no free Spanish Beginner-level classes will be held in Spring 2014, a free Beginner class is being planned for the
future.
Beth Williamson, class instructor for several previous Spanish class semester lessons held at the library, is a retired Sam
Houston State University professor who holds a Master’s degree in English with minors in Spanish and Drama. She also
participated in a three-month Spanish Immersion Class in Mexico.
