RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF TRINITY RIVER AUTHORITY (TRA) OF TEXAS
PROCEEDING WITH REGIONAL WATER SYSTEM PROJECT.
WHEREAS on November 8, 2011, the voters of the City approved a proposition authorizing the
City Council of the City to adopt a resolution approving the issuance of bonds by the
Trinity River Authority of Texas ( "TRA ") for water treatment plant improvements; and
WHEREAS the City Council deems it to be appropriate and in the best interests of the City to
formally notify TRA that it authorizes TRA to proceed with said improvements and of
its intent to adopt a resolution approving of the issuance of TRA bonds for water
treatment plant improvements upon the satisfaction of the requirements precedent
thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Huntsville, Texas, that:
That, for the benefit of TRA, the City Council hereby expresses its intent to adopt an appropriate
resolution approving of the issuance of bonds by TRA for the purpose of financing water treatment
plant improvements upon submission by TRA of an appropriate draft of a TRA resolution proposed to
be adopted by the Board of Directors of TRA and the satisfaction of all conditions precedent thereto.
