Proc. 2010-30 Patty Sue Davis Day 02-28-10WHEREAS upon the retirement of Patty Sue Davis from the Chancel choir we honor
her fifty plus years of attendance and service at First United Methodist
Church; and
WHEREAS Patty Sue Davis has been an active participant in our community'as an
artist, theater director, vocalist, and actress, often remembered for her
role in "Amahl and the Night Visitors • and
WHEREAS Patty Sue Davis has been a positive influence and leader for youth at
Huntsville _Nigh School and Sam Houston State University, and in
children's summer theater; and
WHEREAS Patty, Sue Davis is the beloved wife of Dr. Tommy Davis and mother of
Ginny and .Karen, who share in the appreciation we express here today.
NOW THEREFORE, BE�T4EREBYPROCI.AIMED, by the power vested in me as
Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas that:
