PROCLAMATION
NO. 2015-42
WHEREAS the Unity of Faith Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating the third
anniversary of Senior Pastor Eldridge McAdams; and
WHEREAS Pastor McAdams takes an active role in our community and has given
unselfishly and constantly to demonstrate the responsibility the church has to
the citizenry; and
WHEREAS he has annually held the Food Ministry, prepare and deliver Thanksgiving
meals, provided a summer meal program for seniors and children, conducted
the assembly of non-perishable food packages delivered to residents for the
holiday; and held a coat and blanket drive for the needy and homeless; and
WHEREAS through the efforts of Pastor McAdams and the members of the
congregation, we today celebrate his third anniversary at the Church, and
the promise this holds for the future.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY PROCLAIMED, by the
power vested in me as Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas, that:
June 14, 2015
be declared: Pastor Eldridge McAdams Day
in the City of Huntsville, and call upon our citizens to join in the celebration of this
special individual and his service to our community.
