AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
TO ADOPT THE 1960 EDITION OF THE FIRE PREVEN-
TION CODE RECOMMENDED BY THtNATIONAL BOARD
OF FIRE UNDERWRITERS; AND TO REPEAL ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTSVILLE:
Section 1. For the purpose of prescribing regulations governing
conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, there
is hereby adopted that certain code known as the Fire Prevention Code
recommended by the National Board of Fire Underwriters, being
particularly the 1960 Edition thereof, of which code three (3) copies
are on file in the office of the city secretary, and the same is adopted
and incorporated as a part hereof as fully as if set out at length herein.
Section 2, All ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith
are hereby repeated.
