HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, BY ADDING A NEW SUB - PARAGRAPH UNDER
SECTION 6 OF SAID ELECTRICAL CODE; SUCH NEW PARAGRAPH TO
BE DESIGNATED SUB - PARAGRAPH (J), AND AMENDING SECTION 12
OF SAID ELECTRICAL CODE, PROVIDING FOR THE PENALTY FOR
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH SAID ELECTRICAL CODE:
SECTION I
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS THAT SECTION 6 OF THE ELECTRICAL CODE
OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, IS AMENDED BY ADDING A
NEW SUB - PARAGRAPH (3), WHICH SAID NEW SUB - PARAGRAPH SHALL
READ AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 6, Sub - paragraph (3):
Only approved copper wiring shall be installed in any
building, house, or structure located within the
corporate limits of the City of Huntsville upon which
construction is commenced on or after April 1, 1971.
Other approved wiring may be used from the source of
power to the point of weatherhead location on such
building, house, or structure.

BE IT /ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, THAT SECTION 12 OF THE ELECTRICAL CODE
OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, BE AMENDED TO READ AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 12 (A):
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any
of the provisions of this ordinance, or who shall fail
to comply with same shall be guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine
of not exceeding $200.00.
