BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OUNCU OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TL S;
SECTION I.- i
That the speed limit, within the corporate limits of the City of Huntsville on
any street or way of said city and around the public square shall be fifteen (10)
miles per hous, and that it shall be unlawful for the operator of any motor vehicle
to operate said motor vehicle within said city limits at a greater rase of speed,
SECTION W
That ovary paerson drivng or riding in an automobiles, motorcycle, bicycle,wagon, buggy, carriage, or cIther vehicle along, eaves° and upon the public: streets
or ways of the city of Huntsville, shall pass to the right of what is kncwvz as
traffic signs or posts and to the right at all light posts at the 3ntSersoottions
of the street of the City Cgs^ Huntsville. This extends to and includes all traffic
;suns and light posts on .Avenue Q WAIn street).
SECTION 3w�
That any person or persons driving riding, or operating any automobile, motor.
cycle, bicycle, wagon, buggy, carriages or other vehicle, along, Ovor, said upon
the publics streets or ways if the City of Huntsville, shall not turn said autamo-
bile or other vehicle mentioned above in the streets of Huntsville e excepts at
street Intersections, and them, when, mating a left hand turn shall keep to the
right of traffic signs and light posts, and when making a righthhaand turn has shall
not fail to turn on the near mace of the inteerseotio#, keeping to the right hand
side of the streets,,
SECTION 4—
That all persons operaaiing or driving any motor vehicle or other vehicle men-
tionod in Notion 3 above shall, when desiring to park: on the atr€aW eonatitutin
the public square of,the City Of Huntsville or for one block from this square on
all streets leading "to ttze kquaare either a.loag, the curb in front of the business
houses or along the curb around the court houses square;, always turn to the right
and park their said vehiclem or vehicles at about a 45 degree angles to the curb lines
and shall never at any time arose over the center of the street to the lefts to park,
but when no desiring to parse; on the :heft; hand side of any of the said streets con-
stituting the said square shall drive his aaid vehicle nand m:ako the turn necessary
at the street Intersection,
SECTION 50.
It shall be unlawful, feaw the owner, operator or driver of any motor vehicle
or other vehicle mentioned in Section 3 above to park any of said vehicle on either
side of.Avenue K (main street) in the block between 13th and 14th streets, some be-
Ing the block between the Lindley Hotel and doneat shoe shop; and all persons
driving or operating any motor vehicles before mvnls.ionead shall always drive to the
right of the wsplaanade in said block:.
SECTION 6—
It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of fourteen years to operate
any automobile or other motor vehicle upon the streets or ways of the City of
Huntsville.
SECTION 7*-
Any person, violating any provision of this ord1nanoe ,shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor and upon cativicti•on -thereof in the corporation, court of the City
of Huntsville shCall be final In any sum M hiss than 01.00 nor more than $100,00.
