AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
CONFIRMING THE ACCEPTANCE OF CER^1AIN BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF EQUIP-
MENT AND DETERMINING A NECESSITY THAT PAYMENT OF THE PURCHASE PRICE
OF SUCH EQUIPI+'lZNT SHALL BE BY CERTIFICATE OF OBLIGATION, DETERMINING
THAT NOTICE HAS BEEN PUBLISHED AS REQUIRED BY LAW OF THE INTENTION TO
ISSUE SUCH. CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION, AND OTHERWISE CONFIRMING AND

WHEREAS, the City of Huntsville has heretofore advertised �
and accepted a bid for the purchase of a modular type emergency am-
bulance vehicle to be used in connection with providing emergency
ambulance service by the City of Huntsville; and
' WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Huntsville has
heretofore officially determined that it would be in the best interest
of the City to purchase said equipment and is necessary to provide for
the public health and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUivTSVILLE, TEXAS:

Section 1: That the City of Huntsville confirms the
acceptance of a bid submitted by the following named company as the
successful bidder for the purchase by the said City of Huntsville of
a modular type emergency ambulance vehicle as follows :

Section 2 : That the City Council of the City of Huntsville
determined that it would be in the best interest of the said City to
pay for all of such equipment by an equipment acquisition,certificate
of obligation and that notice of such intention has heretofore been
published in the official newspaper of the City of Huntsville, ' Texas ,
., the Huntsville Item, within the time and in the manner as required by i
law and that no objection or protest has been filed in accordance with
the law, that. it would be in the best interest of the City of Huntsville
for the said City Council to pass legislation creating said certificate
of obligation as an obligation of said City , for the purpose of paying
the purchase price of said modular type emergency ambulance vehicle in
the amount of,.

NOTICE
4 The City of Huntsville will accept sealed bids on July 29, 1975 at
f10:00 A.M. on a modular type emergency- ambulance vehicle to be used in
connection with providing emergency ambulance service. Such bids will
be accepted at the .office of the Cit-"eeretary o-L-the City o�f—Hun--tsv-a-lle
until 10:00 A.M. on July 29, 1975 at which time such bids will be opened
and publicly read.
Specifications for the item to be purchased may be obtained without
charge at the office of the City Secretary at 1025 11th Street, Huntsville,

Texas. It is the intention of said City to pay for all or a part of the
purchase price for such item with a Certificate of Obligation to be issued
by said City under the provisions of Article 2368a.1, revised Civil Statutes
of the State of Texas. The City has arranged for the successful bidder to
sell and assign such certificates and the bidder shall be required to
elect whether he will accept such certificates in payment of all or part
of the contract price or assign same in accordance with the arrangements

made by the said City.
