Frank H. Moore
Whereas Frank H. Moore has served continuously as City Councilman-at-
Large, Position 2 in the City of !Huntsville since October 26, 1971.
Whereas during such period the said Frank H. Moore has also served
as Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Huntsville and in so serving as both
Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem has served with great distinction and rendered
outstanding service to all the citizens of the city of Huntsville. Council-
man Moore constantly demonstrated his far-reaching insight and intellectual
acmmnn in analyzing the many and varied tasks presented to the City Council
resulting from his rendering sound and constructive decisions of the entire
City Council. His opinions and judgements were also of an estimable ualue
to the staff of the city of Huntsville in assisting city personnel in
carrying out the duties of the day to day operation.
Councilman Moore participated in and contributed to decisions of great
significance to the people of this community including the construction of
a new South Huntsville Sanitary Sewerage and Disposal Plant, the preliminary
planning for an additional North Huntsville Sanitary Sewerage and Disposal
System, a water treatment facility with distribution system for surface
water, major improvements at the Huntsville Municipal Airport, and the
construction of the new City Halisfor the City of Huntsville. Many other
important matters have also been acted upon by the City Council during
Councilman Moore's tenure. All the decisions, large or small, fiscal
responsibility in the best interest of all the citizens of the city,
were factors present in Councilman Moore's deliberate and constructive
actions.
