The Council met In a regular session with the following:

COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT: Wayne Barrett James Fitch, Lydia Montgomery, Keith D. Olson

1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tumor called the meeting to order at 1201 pm.
2. PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION
Mayor Turner gave the Invocation.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT. 1 -110
There were no public comments.
4. STATUTORY AGENDA
a. Authorize the City Manager to purchase sixteen (16) Ford vehicles, with approved accessories, from Hillcrest
Ford, and one (1) Chevrolet vehicle, with approved accessories, from Caldwell Country. Approve purchase of
remaining equlpmentfaccessorles In separate Informal bid on an as-needed basis to properly equlp.vehtcles.

Counclimernber Woodward made a motion to approve. 6oundimember Johnson seconded the motion.
Winston Duke, Finance Director, said this was all vehicles carried over from last year, vehicles currently on the
replacement schedule, and FEMA expenditures. He complimented the cooperation of the team working on this Item.
Bilge Smith, Procurement Manager, said it was a competitive seated bid, but slightly unusual because they Included
turnkey products, providing an anticipated better cost savings. She said the old vehicles would be auctioned online.
City Manager Bill Saine said that so doing should not an extra $300.
The motion passed unanimously. SQ.

6. MEDIA INQUIRIES RELATED TO MATTERS ON THE AGENDA
Torl Brock, The Huntsville Item, asked N all were police vehicles. Mrs. Smith said six vehicles were for the Police
Department two to the Water Department, and one each to Solid Waste, Cemetery. Streets, and Wastewater.

The Mayor said last week be, the City Secretary, and Councilmember Olson went to Brenham to pay the 'City's debt' to
them In Blue Bell Ice cream [loss In this year's Mayors Bowl high school football game].
Counclimernber Woodward announced the Town Hall he was cosponsoring with CounclImember Wagarnon, which would
be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011. at 6;30pm, at the Katy and E. Don WalkefEducation Center.
Counclimember Woodward made a motion to wish everyone a Hawy New Year, and was seconded by CoUncilmember
Wanamon. The motion passed 4-1. Counclimember Cole voting analost saving he thought It was unconstitutional.
