On this, the day of i'/"9 , 1927, the City
of Huntsville convened in regular' session
office of the City Secretary in said City, the following
Council of the City
at the
members being present, to -wit, Hon.Tom Ball, Mayor,

when among other proceedings had were the following:
A resolution, duly made and seconded, was adopted by
unanimous vote of the Council that the gravelling and improvement
of the following streets in the City of Huntsville be finally
accepted by said City, to-wit,Avenue 0 from Eleventh Street to
the intersection of the Normal Park Road and the Normal Park Road
from Avenue 0 to the intersection of Avenue L extended South;
That said street improvement has been made and completed
in accordance with the plsns and specifications set forth in the
contract for the same with G.L.Clark, and that said work has been
fully done in strict accordance with said contract and specifications
adopted by the City.
THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED AND RESOLVED by the
City Council of the City of Huntsville, that said streets above
mentioned, and the improvements and work thereon under said
contract be and the same are hereby accepted, and the report of
the Engineer and of the Street and Bridge Committee touching
the same are in all things approved and confirmed, and that settle-
ment be made with the contractor for" the City's portion of said
street improvement and a warrant shall be issued for the amount
due the contractor thereunder; and that Assessment Certificates
heretofore provided for against the adjacent property owners on
the edge of said streets where said improvement has been made be
issued by the City of Huntsville, Texas, and delivered to the said
G.L.Clark, in payment for the property owners part and portion of
said improvements on edge of said streets, and that said certifi-

cates be signed by the Mayor and Secretary of the City of Huntsville,
Texas, and the seal of said City impressed thereon, and against
the following property owners, to -wit:

PARK ROAD, AND ON NORMAL PARK ROAD FROM AVENUE 0 TO AVENUE L

The amounts due hereunder by the sundry parties named, shall be paid
as follows,to-wit: All cash at the option of thepro.pertyowne,r, within
t4iirty days from completion and acceptance of the paving, or one-fifth
thirty days after completion and acceptance of said improvements by the
said city as per resolution passed by the City Council,the balance in
fotr equal installments on or before one,two, three and four years res-
pectively, with interest on said installments from date of acceptance
at the rate of eight per cent per annum, payable annually, together with
reasonable attorneys fees, with interest, if not paid at maturity and
placed in the hands of an attorney for collection or suit is brought
thereon, and if default be made in the payment of any installment when
due, then the whole amount shall at once become due and payable at the
option of the holder of said indebtedness, as evidenced by certificates
of spacial assessment to be issued hereunder.
