MINUTES FROM THE HUNTSVILLE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON THE 3 DAY OF
NOVEMBER 2016, IN THE CITY HALL, LOCATED AT 1212 AVENUE M, IN THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
COUNTY OF WALKER, TEXAS, AT 5:30 P.M.
The Council met in a regular session with the following:
COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Andy Brauninger, Paul Davidhizar, Don H. Johnson, Keith D. Olson
, Joe Emmett, Tish Humphrey, Ronald Allen, Joe P. Rodriquez
(arrived at 5:41 p.m.)
COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT: Lydia Montgomery
PLANNING COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Eric Johnston, Debra Durda, Woody Woods, Tommy
Cummings, Bill Barry
OFFICERS PRESENT: Matt Benoit, City Manager; Lee Woodward, City Secretary
1. CALL TO ORDER –
Mayor Brauninger called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
2. WORKSHOPThe City Council will meet with the Planning Commission to review major subdivision
–
preliminary plan for the Cottages at Ravens Corner.
Aron Kulhavy, Director of Community and Economic Development, and Dale Browne of McClure and
Browne provided information and answered questions on the proposal. Additional information on the City’s
position was presented by City Engineer Ram Ramachandra and Graduate Engineer Matt Woodham.
3. ADJOURNMENT
– Mayor Brauninger adjourned the meeting at 6:45 p.m.
