Huntsville Parks and Leisure Department at Kate
Barr Ross Park Monday, July 4, 2016 to celebrate
the 4th of July with family entertainment and a
large-scale fireworks show.
The 4th of July celebration will be a fun and safe
event for the entire family. Family entertainment
will commence at 4 p.m. with the fireworks show
beginning at 9 p.m. or at dark, weather permitting.
Come out and enjoy a fun-filled event to celebrate
the Fourth of July. Enjoy family entertainment with
a rock wall, face painter, air brush artist, leather
crafts, bounce houses, and karaoke. We will also
have the Patriot Guard Riders (sponsored by the
H.E.A.R.T.S. Museum) ride their motorcycles
through the park around 5:30 PM.
Food vendors will be on site. If you are interested
in being a food vendor, please contact Penny
Joiner at (936) 294-5708 or by email at
pjoiner@huntsvilletx.gov. All vendor applications
must be submitted and complete by Friday, June
24th. Proper permits from the Health Department
must also be obtained.
Attendants, please note: no alcohol or glass
bottles will be allowed on the premises.
