Huntsville
Huntsville Special Election to Fill a Vacancy are in.
The candidates for Councilmember-at-Large
Position 1 received a total of 1253 votes. John S.
Little drew 542 votes and Paul Davidhizar had
711.
Results become official when canvassed by the
Huntsville City Council on May 17, 2016 at their
regular meeting. The special election was called
by the Council after Councilmember Andy
Brauninger won the Mayoral runoff in December
2015, leaving a vacant seat.
All four Councilmember-at-Large Council seats
will be up for election on the November 2016
ballot.
