The Huntsville Public Library is pleased to . General City News
announce a new six-week Tai Chi class . Solid Waste&
Recycl i na
taught by Tai Chi instructor Gary Readore.
Solid Waste&
Classes begin on Wednesday, April 13 and Recycling
will be held on following Wednesdays from 5 . This Week in
to 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Huntsville
Readore, a Tai Chi instructor for 25 years,
teaches the Yang Style Long Form
consisting of 108 movements. Tai Chi has
evolved over several thousand years of
research in China and is popular worldwide.
Tai Chi has been shown in research to
reduce anxiety, depression, and chronic pain
conditions. It is believed by many to boost
the immune system, improve respiratory
function, burn calories, dramatically improve
balance, provide cardiovascular benefits,
provide powerful stress management tools,
and slow aspects of the aging process.
Class size is limited so please sign up early.
