BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUINCIL OF THE CITY OF hUivTSVILLE IN COUNCIL ASSETIB3 LED:
Section One: That t -ere is rereby levied., for the current year on all real
property situated and all personal property owned rrithin the lim -ts of said city
of Hunt :ville, - Texas, on the first day of January, 1950, except so much as r.?ay be
excepted under the constitution and laz,.rs of this state of the United States, the
following taxes.
(1) An ad volorom tax of and at the rate of t,_L cents on the One
11undred ((,5100.00) Dollars cash value thereof, estimated in lawful currency of the
United States for the cul-rent ex,->enses for the sunnort and maintenance of the City
Goverment of said. City of Hunt l-v-ille, Texas.
(2) I, -n ad volorcia ta.x of and at the rate of N' . �y on the One Hundred
Dollar 02100.00) cash value thereof, estimmated in lavrful cur..•ency of the United
States, to pay current interest on and provide one Year's sinking fund and to pay
ell of the principal and interest accuring on all outstanding warrants, sewerage;
bonds, paving bonds, Funding Warrants, Sewer Extensions, improvement Bonds and .
Warrants, City I!all and Fire St^tion larrants and any and all other bonds and
' warrants outstanding heretofrom lawful issued by the City of Huntsville, Texas, and
which are now lavid outst "nding obli,^,a_tions of the said City o'' �.ntsvilie, Texas.
3) An annu 1 a.ci volore:n tax of and at the rate of ��1

United. States, for the purpose of the support and maintenance of the Fire Depart-
ment a.t ?thorized by law at an election held thereunder and the ordinance of the
City of lhzntsville, Texas pursuant thereto.
(4) An occupation tax on all persons, firms, and corporation doing business
within the City of 11uytsville, Texas, equal to one -half of that provided b,- 1,Tff for
occupation tax due and payable to;the St ^te of Texas, and including all amendments
of Article 7047 of the Revised Statutes of 1925, and other amendiaents thereto.
(5) A poll tax o one (��1.00) Dollar on every inhabitant of said City os'
Huntsville, Texas over the age of t-uenty -one (21) years and not over sixty (60)
year of age on the first day of January.
